You Are Mine.

Solomon 6:3 (Song of Songs)
3 I am my lover's and my lover is mine;
he browses among the lilies.

I mentioned Dojo yesterday. This is one of the scriptures that came up that evening. In fact, it was the first one in our application half of the night. That is, applying all this Holy Spirit "stuff" to good use by listening to it for ourselves. The person who we were praying for needed encouragement and it was our job to provide her with kind, genuine words, images, or anything that the Spirit led us to do. The one who shared this reading described what she felt led to say. She said that she saw God dancing with a child in a field of flowers (immediately thinking of the Song of Songs) and saw an expression of complete joy and love because God was reminding her that he loves his children so much. Incredibly, God had talked to the girl who needed encouragement the day before. She was lonely, but at the end of the service, "How He Loves" was played by the band and God asked her to dance with him. She was crying. She said she went into the prayer chapel and danced with him until she stopped crying. God swept her off her feet!

Isn't that amazing? That story just gave me goosebumps when she gave her testimony, just like the wind of the Holy Spirit. You are bound to be swept off your feet if you just listen closely to the Lord. As crazy as it may seem, if it brings your attention back to the Lord and your relationship with him, then that's what's important.

God is calling you today. He is saying, "You are mine." Start praying now and see where he takes you. Maybe he wants to dance with you, or sing to you, or show you a picture of an innocent child with faith. Whatever it is, I can't exactly tell you. Dig into the Spirit yourself and experience the overwhelming power within.
