God's Does Favors for Us.

Ephesians 3:20-21
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.


Don't you just want to keep reading this passage from Ephesians over and over again? I came across it and I thought "wow!" I love the fact that it says that he can do "immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine..." In other words, it's hard to account for everything. That's saying something! How many times do we thank God for the countless things that God does for us? Chances are, we don't do that very many times. We really should express more gratitude because God wants to do us more favors than we can imagine.

The trouble is that we have to go beyond our wimpy, once-a-day prayers and an occasional thank you. Help us by dreaming big for the Lord. Trust that he can help you do an abundance of amazing, powerful work in his name. Trust that he can give us everything that we need in order to survive from day to day. Once you do that, buckle your seat belts. You're in for an amazing ride beyond comprehension brought to you by God!

Lord, stay the same as you were thousands of years ago. Help strengthen our faith life so that we come to appreciate how much stronger it becomes with you and how much we were missing before. When times get tough, remind us that innumerable good is coming our way. May you fill everyone with all that you are. We ask this for the sake of your salvation and eternal glory.
