MIRROR <--> RORRIM

2 Corinthians 3:18
18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

The last thing you want to do as a Christian believer is act two-faced. God tells us in the book of Revelation that we aren't to be lukewarm - neither hot nor cold. God wants you to be either a full blown Christian or not one at all. That means we have to be honest with ourselves, to others, and most importantly to God.

In fact, being honest and open makes your relationship with God more intimate, which sets the example for others. Think of yourself as a mirror (no the title of today's post, is not a typo. It's meant to be a reflection of the word mirror). When you let the Holy Spirit within you, your character, words, and actions should be a mirror image of God. Just think, you can tell when someone is open to the Spirit because you can sense it in everything that they do. Keep your mirror clear. Don't let it get foggy or rusty. You want to portray a complete, glorious picture of God.

It's hard to step aside and remember to live for God sometimes. Still, the fact is, petty things take away our focus on him and don't allow us to see his "vision" for us as I discussed yesterday. Nothing needs to get in the way of your journey. Don't hurry. Protect your lifestyle with God and remember to establish a mirror image of Christ.

I mentioned that there are certain things that distract us from God. One such thing is getting involved in work. Check out this video. We'll end this week on a comedic note.

P.S. If you have trouble with the video stopping and starting, keep the video paused, and let it "buffer" (load) as it's called for a while. You will see the red bar along the bottom advance (speed depends on your Internet connection). Wait until that bar gets pretty far along (I'd say more than halfway) before you play the video and it shouldn't pause. P.S.
