Everlasting Life.

Psalm 92:14-15
14 They will still bear fruit in old age,
they will stay fresh and green,
15 proclaiming, "The LORD is upright;
he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."

This passage from Psalm reminds me of the old phrase, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks." How many times do we have that in our mind? We have to remember Philippians 4:13..."I can do everything through him [Christ] who gives me strength" which pretty much disproves the cliche.

I know that sometimes we take on new challenges and feel like we're novices. We wonder why on earth would God call me to do this? It's pretty easy for us to question God. The thing is, he wants us to step out of our comfort zone and learn to faithfully and genuinely serve him. Be willing to do as God asks, even if it means questioning your success. Remember, you have to trust the Lord.

Sure, we can't do everything. Sure, we won't be called to do the same thing that our "neighbor" or friend may be able to do. However, that's why we work together as the Body of Christ. It is here, where everyone comes together and works for the common good of the Kingdom of God. Additionally, God will work with your weaknesses and you will see God noticeably working in your life. God is faithful in what he instills in us. Therefore, we should use our gifts wisely so that we can continue to be fruitful for the rest of our life.
