Our Trust.

Psalm 40:4
4 Blessed is the man
who makes the LORD his trust,
who does not look to the proud,
to those who turn aside to false gods.

What's your trust? Is it money? Will it be money someday you get while working some of your first jobs? Is it physical attractiveness? These are just a few examples of what some of us consider to be our trust.

In David's time, everyone seemed to believe in a God. Even if it wasn't the same God, they believed in something. They also believed everything happened for a reason, good or bad.

A lot of times we look up to those who have higher class than us and we try to imitate what they do. The funny thing is that fails us. Quit trying to be someone or something you're not. Be like God!

Take some time and think about what you trust. God should be our greatest source of trust. He has every right to be acknowledged. God is the provider of joy.

Have you ever thought about what life would be like if everyone tried to be exactly like famous people? Ask God to let you go to him with great trust everyday.
