Be Happy.

Psalm 40:16
16 But may all who seek you
rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who love your salvation always say,
"The LORD be exalted!"

God wants you to be happy, no doubt about it. However, be careful how you interpret that statement. The truth is the truth, but some people turn it into something extremely deceiving.

It's not about fulfilling your greatest addiction to keep you happy or not going to church because it doesn't make you happy. God IS what it's all about.

David asks that we follow God's will for us. God has one specifically for every one of you. Nonetheless, we are to find happiness in God. His goodness, his mercy, and his love should be one of many reasons to be joyful. When we see miracles and amazing things happen before our eyes, King David expects us to Praise God.

Do you ever feel glad because of God's goodness? What would happen if we didn't?
Go forth today, and be happy in the Lord.
