Thank Him for...

Ecclesiastes 5:19-20
19 And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. 20 God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past.

Let me give you a brief summary of what we talked about this week. We learned that money fails us and doesn't satisfy us, the more money we have the more expensive it really is, money is fickle, and we need to enjoy every moment. I'm going to elaborate on the last point (from yesterday) some more.

So we know God has given us wealth and possessions, but it's never enough. Still, we all have some cool items that we could boast about continuously.

Do you enjoy what you have? Don't worry if the answer is "yes." God wants us to enjoy anything and everything. That's everything...including what you do for work or your favorite sport. Everything just may not necessarily be fun to you, but still satisfying.

Enjoy each moment and envision it as a precious moment given by God. He gives you so much because he loves you. Thank him for everything: the ipod, computer, clothes, food, water, nature, your family, and your best friend's personality. This way there's little time to complain and be worried about the things in life that bring false hope.

"I am just a person who is human, down to earth enjoying life...whatever God blesses you with. Enjoying life for me is just normal." ~Mohamed Al-Fayed (the category of the quote, I believe, is a good description: Life - Happiness - God)
