Ecclesiastes 5:18
18 Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life.
The Bible has said this week that there is no possible way money can satisfy us. What can be said then? Enjoy the now...enjoy this very moment in time. That sounds pretty good. What does this mean though?
Quit looking at life as a championship. Quit trying to master it like its some test. If you don't stop, you'll be groaning from disappointment.
Who cares about a one-on-one battle with life and money? If you battle at all, battle the world and Satan so that you can have a relationship with God. This relationship is not submerged somewhere in your life in the middle of a pile of money. If one is delusional about this money thing, he or she can seriously miss out on a good relationship!
Think of today as a gift from God. Sit back, relax, and enjoy it, that is, the ride of no false satisfaction!
