A Few Dollars Won't Do It.

Ecclesiastes 5:10
10 Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!

(Refer to February 26 post). This Bible verse is not talking about anyone in particular. No one other than you or me! We all say, "Ah money, I don't love it. I could use a few extra dollars to pay off some bills and that would be enough."

Anytime we want a few extra dollars and that's it, we need to remember the verse above. If you don't listen to what the Bible has to say about this, you're going to find that you're tripping over yourself or running in circles continuously.

Why? A few extra dollars is a never-ending race. It's like when you feel you're doing something for nothing, and it's the truth. Rich status doesn't exist in the Kingdom of God. After all, this is said by the richest and most superior guy of them all (God).

Stop and think, does money really make you happy? Why can't God make you happy instead?

“Money never made a man happy yet, nor will it. The more a man has, the more he wants. Instead of filling a vacuum, it makes one.” ~Benjamin Franklin

Short today, but I hope it makes a point, especially the second half. Take care and have a great day!
