God's Submission to Us.

John 3:16
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I know I've talked about this at least a couple times, and it is probably the most popular Bible verse that is heard. Is it really understood though? While I'm talking about total submission, it's a good time to bring it up again. To understand what God does for us, let's talk about salvation. Salvation that God offers us means that you can get past your identity and be placed in a relationship with him. You lose yourself and the world, and gain his love - now that's great if you ask me! Even better, you get to know who God truly is.

God gave his only son; now it's our job to proclaim God's son Jesus Christ to all of the world. He saves all from sin transforming us into a holy individual. This is all due not just to God's dedication for us, but his 100 percent submission to us.

Now is the time to surrender to the Lord. It's a commitment that should extend beyond today and be a reality for your entire life. John 3:16 is the basis of it all. If you don't understand completely how God gave himself to us , then how can you tell others what it means to give your life to God? Again, we have to give ourselves up to God just like he did for us - whole-heartedly 100 percent. If you do this, then your life will be so wrapped up in God that you'll see God everywhere!
