When the End is in Sight.

2 Corinthians 4:18
18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Wahoo we made it to the weekend...and most of us have Monday off too!

I only have twelve days left of school. What have I been looking forward to for the past month? Summer! What happens when you're running a marathon and you're 300 yards from the finish line? Well, you're looking directly at that finish line!

So we anticipate these two things, which we believe we will be alleviated from. We look forward to the end of one thing so that we can begin something else. It's just natural.

All the pain and suffering that will come sooner than later, I should be able to handle. Our tower of pain is brief compared to our laundry list of blessings we can expect in heaven eternally. This idea should give us strength to press on, undoubtedly.

Does this thought help you cope with life's circumstances? Sometimes we need to look at the heaven which we cannot yet see (and imagine the opportunities), instead of the difficulty that sucks the life out of us.

"In my end is my beginning." ~Jean de la Fontaine
