It's Not the End.

Hebrews 12:5-6
5 And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said,

My child, don’t make light of the Lord’s discipline,
and don’t give up when he corrects you.
6 For the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.”

Are you having a bad day? I hope you're not. We all have them though. Those days where "whatever can go wrong, will go wrong." (Murphy's law) Whenever it does happen we tend to ignore everything that is going on at the moment including God. We learn after every experience in life.

It is so easy to blame God for these bad things. It doesn't mean that he isn't with us during these times. So then why, if God is good and powerful, doesn't he put a stop to our bad days? He is testing us. During the course of hard times he wants to develop our character.

Additionally, there are catastrophes around the world that hurt us. We feel heartache for the victims and wonder where is God in the midst of these situations? We know he can prevent things from happening...

Well God doesn't wish bad things on anybody. If you question that, you could look at it this way: God is good not because of what he does, but he is good because of who he is.

I want you to know, that God is present when you are having a rough time, even though it may not feel like it. He will always love you beyond your imagination. Matthew West has a song that says,
"But it's not the end
The end of the world
It's just another day
Depending on grace
No it's not the end
The end of the world
It's just another day
So don't sleep it all away."

Now that is good news on any bad day!

"Your worst days are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God's grace. And your best days are never so good that you're beyond the need of God's grace." ~Unknown
