Accept God's Way.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20
19 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! 20 You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This[a] is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

Understand that God wants you. Stop what you're doing every now and then during the day and let him grab a hold of you. God is knocking on your doorstep and wants to be invited into your home, everywhere you go, and everything you do.

As stated in verse 19, choose a life long relationship with God (not self-centeredness or even religion). Realize the sacrifice he made to have his son, Jesus, die for your sins and then accept it. It will help you connect with God.

Then we are told to listen to God and to obey him. You can find his expectations throughout the bible. Everything you can possibly think of is in there.

Finally, be attached to God. He likes to be with you and wants to be your priority.

So be all for God and don't make anything else your priority because nothing can get more important than God!

"God is a sort of burglar. As a young man you knock him down; as an old man you try to conciliate him, because he may knock you down." ~H. Beerbohm Tree
