2 Corinthians 9:7
7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
When you go to a restaurant, you expect to be served by a pleasant person right? Every once in a while we encounter somebody who is grumpy or just seems to be having a bad day. You see this big expression on their face that says: "Don't bother me right now!"
If you're in a servant's position though you must act with pride. You must have the heart of a servant. We all mess up sometimes, but just keep that in mind. If you're purpose is to serve others, let it have an impact on an individual by serving in a graceful way. As a server, you should not just serve for one's convenience, but go beyond that and express true joyfulness.
Remember that serving OTHERS = serving GOD. You were shaped for serving God.
"Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve....You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love." ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
