Love Satisfies God.

Romans 13:9-10
9 For the commandments say, “You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not covet.” These—and other such commandments—are summed up in this one commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.

You can't possibly harm someone by loving them. Read the verses above a couple more times and focus on how you react to them. Be careful that you're not too narrow minded...Jesus doesn't expect us just to live by the term "love your neighbor" and be nice to them. I'm thinking he wants a little more. He wants us to help and serve others: friends, strangers, and even enemies.

Serving on a board such as Habitat for Humanity or feeding the hungry are good service projects that express the love God expects from us. You can even do something as easy as getting the mail for an elderly person.

The opportunities are endless. Don't you want to love? All Jesus can do is love you, so open your arms for somebody else...on this Valentines Day. Show it to someone who is least expecting it.

Do not waste time bothering whether you "love" your neighbor; act as if you did. As soon as we do this we find one of the great secrets. When you are behaving as if you loved someone you will presently come to love him. ~C. S. Lewis
