Godly Generosity.

Acts 20:32-35
32 “And now I entrust you to God and the message of his grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself.

33 “I have never coveted anyone’s silver or gold or fine clothes. 34 You know that these hands of mine have worked to supply my own needs and even the needs of those who were with me. 35 And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Being generous is asked of us in the Bible. As we receive spiritual strength and blessings from God, it does not hurt to reciprocate that behavior. Doesn't it just feel good to be at the foot of someone's generosity?

Giving means even greater things because it's God-specific. It's doing just what the Lord says to do and following his footsteps. After all, he gave EVERYTHING to us FREELY...just for us.

Seriously think about this...how can you give back to God?

When you do give, it can significantly impact the lives of others and they may have this to say:

Thank you for giving to the Lord,
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord,
I am so glad you gave.

Listen to the song: "Thank you for Giving to the Lord" by Ray Boltz. It was shared with me a few months ago by my youth leader :)
