God Cares and Loves You.

John 10:11-13
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. 12 A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they don’t belong to him and he isn’t their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. 13 The hired hand runs away because he’s working only for the money and doesn’t really care about the sheep.

The shepherd in this story really cares about his sheep. The sheep belong to him. He dedicated lots of time and effort toward raising the sheep. He nurtered them and made sure they had everything they needed. The shepherd can relate to the sheep as well.

Has someone ever told you they would take a bullet if it meant life or death? That's basically what the shepherd would do for his sheep. The shepherd would sacrifice his life if it meant his sheep lived. Does this sound familiar? It should because it's what Jesus Christ did for us...he sacrificed his life on the cross for us.

How do you react given God's unconditional love? Do you do anything with it? You can show it to someone who doesn't know it exists.
