A Wait Well Worth It.

Hebrews 12:2
2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Imagine with all your mind someone giving a baby a big hug. It's be nice to think of something so pleasant. Talk about something encouraging, think about running a race and someone standing at the finish line, smiling, as they wait for you. What about that glowing look in someone's eyes when they love you?

This is amazing, but it's simply what the Lord's love for you is like. He suffered at the cross, more than we can imagine, but he'd probably tell us something like "Look at it this way, I'd do it again if it meant having you as my child to love. It's all worth it."

God is the never ending source of love. He loved his son and he loves YOU! Not only that but his love is eternal, his love is overwhelming, and his love NEVER FAILS! One day we'll be with Jesus and it is going to be well worth the wait! I know God has his arms stretched out especially for you. Don't forget that as you go about your day.
