Hope in a Time of Sorrow.

1 Chronicles 28:9
9 “And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the Lord sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

David showed the importance of worship in Israel. He began to build a temple and organized the Priests to serve there. He hired many musicians in order to worship and Praise the Lord.

David had prosperous days and most importantly devoted time to God. A new temple was finally built. Thus, they had just what they needed to be followers of Christ in the Holy Land.

What did it mean for them to have God? God provides strength during any time in life. In fact, David realized that when he worshipped the Lord.

You can see the followers were starting over - fresh and new. In the meantime, God gave them strength and lots of power in the process!

"Many of the great achievements of the world were accomplished by tired and discouraged men who kept on working.” ~Author Unknown
