Don't Be Ashamed!

1 Corinthians 2:1-2
1 When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

Do you ever think that we make the idea of evangelism too complicated? Sure, we have to know what the Bible is saying because we need to know what we're talking about when we tell others about Christ. Still, the main idea that we have to meaningfully convey to others is that Jesus died on the cross for YOU and ME.

You probably don't even realize how much God can use you to make others come to Christ. Find whatever way you can to spread the Word. Don't be forceful with his Word, just be encouraging. When the words of God come to you, take advantage of that and realize it's because you have experienced his powerful love. Now is not the time to be ashamed! Tell others about it. Can you imagine if God was ashamed of one of his creations...YOU? No, because he wouldn't be ashamed!

Has anyone ever come back to tell you stories? I know I've heard some amazing God stories of people getting saved.

In a nutshell, there is great meaning in the simple story of Jesus' death and resurrection. Don't over-complicate it! Don't add to it, don't take away from it. Leave it just how it is. Proclaim and spread the good news. Then, stand back, so to speak, and watch God work his wonders!
