Worrying Part I.

Matthew 6:27
27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

I will be the first to admit that...at times it is very hard not to worry! When we worry it brings us into a state of fear, leading to depression, turning into paralysis/not being able to do anything.

Believe it or not, worrying can become obsessive and uncontrollable. An example is the countless phobias that exist today in many different people. The scripture above, Matthew 6:27, always hits me hard because, sure, at times it is hard not to worry. It's SO TRUE how much time do we do waste on worrying...A LOT. There are far more productive things we could be doing.

Maybe simple techniques like taking deep breaths calm the worrying in you. Did you ever think about opening up the bible?

"If you can't sleep, then get up and do something instead of lying there worrying. It's the worry that gets you, not the lack of sleep." ~Dale Carnegie

Part II of the worrying topic will come down the road...
